Taking Back Sunday is an American rock band from Amityville, New York, formed in late 1999 by guitarist Eddie Reyes and bassist Jesse Lacey.
The current members of the band are Adam Lazzara (lead vocals), John Nolan (lead guitar, keyboards, vocals), and Shaun Cooper (bass guitar), who are accompanied by Nathan Cogan (guitar) during live performances.
Taking Back Sunday has been described as "one of the more visible groups of the early 2000s emo boom."
